My name is Bobbi-Jo Stuart. I believe in big dreams, the beauty of a simple moment and finding the best light in any situation.
As your photographer, my main priority is always making sure that you feel safe and comfortable so that you can leave our session feeling confident.
PORTRAIT PRICING
ALL SESSIONS REQUIRE A DEPOSIT OF $150 TO BOOK.
The deposit holds your date, books a studio if needed, and starts the planning process. This fee is non-refundable.
Professional Hair styling and Makeup may be added to any session for $200, or $125 for just makeup or hair alone. (per person)
Additional images, albums, and wall art may be added to all sessions after final images are chosen and retouched.

PREMIUM STUDIO SESSION
Individual, Motherhood, Boudoir
- 2+ hours at studio or agreed upon location — take your time!
- All the digital images from your session (all the best poses and moments) typically 50+
- Your favourite 20 images matted and printed, ready to display or treasure privately
- $200 Print credit to use towards prints, albums or wall art

SIMPLE STUDIO SESSION
Individual Portraits, Boudoir, Motherhood, Couples
- 1-1.5 hour session at an agreed upon location or in studio
- Up to 3 family members
- 20 digital images from your session (your choice of 20 from an online proof gallery)
- $150 Print credit to use towards prints or more images from your gallery

PETITE STUDIO SESSION
1 PERSON — maternity, Individual portraits, motherhood
- Includes 10 final hand-edited digital images
- 45 minutes in the studio or agreed upon location

How do I book a session date?
If you have a specific date in mind, please contact me to find out the availability.
Next, an initial deposit ($150) will reserve the date for you.
When is the best time to take maternity photos?
Over the years I have learned that the best time is usually between 27-30 weeks as most women are showing by then, and still feeling very active and vibrant! However I understand that all women are different. The “best time” is dependant on how you feel! Your comfort is my most important priority.
Can I bring my partner or children to my maternity session?
OF COURSE! Having a baby is a family event so of course they can be there!
Some women will decide to come alone for the first half for some pampering time in the hair and makeup chair, and then do some more intimate or artistic maternity photos alone. Partners and children will often arrive awhile later for the second half of the session to get some photos all together. But it is up to you and we will discuss best options!
How long is the Photo Session?
It depends on many factors such as how many people, ages of children, how many outfits you want to wear etc — but I will never rush you! Most storytelling or studio sessions last about 60-90 minutes, where mini sessions are less than 45 minutes.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes, I do retouch and colour correction on all photos to enhance their beauty and the atmosphere of the event.
My editing includes light correction, color adjustments, my signature cropping to emphasize THE most important element in each shot, and skin tone correction.
I am a big fan of natural editing. This means I will enhance your natural beauty by correcting minor flaws if there is any (occasional pimple, dark spot, crease, unflattering fold, etc.) but I don’t practice and don’t believe in full-on photoshopping process that creates mannequins out of people. If your face was blessed with freckles — I will not erase them. If your smile reveals laughing lines, I will not get rid of them completely, just soften a bit.
True emotions are what important. I focus my attention to show them.
What should I wear?
I work with every client to plan outfits, locations and vibe of your session and will offer many suggestions for clothing. I will also create a mood board for you if requested.
You are welcome to send me photos of your outfits before the session for review and advice. Wardrobe can make or break a photo and I will help you choose items that will remain timeless and classic.
How do I choose my photos?
I review all images from our session and make the initial selection, eliminating the doubles and unflattering images. The best bunch gets edited and color corrected and uploaded into your personal, private gallery for viewing.
You will make your selection by marking your favorite images.
There are always more images than any of my packages offer, unless you choose an all inclusive option.
Based on the package you selected, you will select the number of photos for download.
Additional images can be purchased as add-ons at $50 ea.
Will you post my photos online?
Not if you don’t want me to! Your photos are for YOU. They are not for me to post and use for my own business needs. Before I post or print anything I require a signed image release form from the client.
Of course I love sharing my client’s images, but there is never any pressure or need to say yes :)
